“I don’t know how other mammals do it. They pop out their young without the help of epidurals or ice chips, and then they take to nursing without a care in the world. Their faces don’t grimace. Their nipples don’t crack. And I’ve never seen any other mammal in the entire animal kingdom wear a nipple shield to draw out an inverted teat. But the human mammal is like no other. In fact, we seem to have nothing but problems when it comes to nursing our young”.
” It was only a few generations ago that women didn’ t have problems juggling both work and baby. That’s because for the most part, women didn’t worked… Men went out in the workforce and earned the daily bread while women stayed home and turned that bread into tasty-sandwiches.
I don’t know how it happened. How, even after a woman entered the workforce, we’re still expected to do most all of the household chores. Somehow men feel entitled to sit on their asses all weekend watching an endless array of sports while women run around doing the cooking, cleaning, and errands and changing poopy diapers. Maybe its just engrained in the male DNA, along with a bad sense of direction and an inability to remember where they left their wallets. Whatever it is, it’s a mystery that’s worth solving”
